Artist's Comments

He is mine, and I am his.

And though I may struggle against it, though my fists may beat against common sense, I can no longer resist the tug of his withered heart. It beckons feebly, pleading for me to relieve its suffering. I rush to it willingly and I shall never look back, for I know that the pathway behind me has crumbled. We belong to each other. Our hearts have entwined.

Our souls are bound eternally.

(I am an insufferable drama queen :lol:)

Feeling very introspective and romantic lately. It's probably because of dear Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. Erik and Christine deserve a Heathcliff and Cathy moment. :)

The Phantom of the Opera belongs to Gaston Leroux.
Art belongs to me.

I miss peeking through your sketchbook to see what you were doing. :3 However, seeing as I can't snoop through your artistry, this was a nice reminder of how great an artist you are. :heart: Besides, a little romance is nice every once in a while. ;)

Lovely. I like the dramatic background and the way Christine absolutely clings to him.

...what a fantastic idea, to provide a soundtrack for your stunningly beautiful artwork. Le Onde is a beautiful piece, I have not heard it before, and it brings your wonderful drawing "Eternally" to life. The marriage of a beautiful melody with a beautiful drawing make the visual experience of looking at your piece so much richer. (..were you listening to this music as you drew, or did you just have it in mind, or what?) Wouldn't it be great if deviantART offered a way of allowing members to download a specific bit of music to accompany a drawing or painting, so that when you clicked on it the music would begin playing...? (.....of course, there would be copyright issues. What you have done by providing a link is the next best thing, I suppose....and come to think of it, I have seen such gruesome art on DA, it's probably not a good idea...one can only imagine what the music accompanying that type of art would be....)
I very much appreciate the Romantic in you, Muirin007, I do understand where your heart is....another amazing addition to a exquisite Gallery!!!---Ric C.

Awee This is absolutely beautiful!!! I love the positions of both Erik and Christine.. It looks like she could have been struggling but like stop and is being pulled into Erik's embrace :}...Also their face expressions give off the same impression as their body language. Oh and the Music is so beautiful.. matches the emotion I think you wanted the viewer to feel perfectly. -lol it kinda looks like their wearing pajamas- it's cute:}
