"If you are ever in doubt as to whether to kiss a pretty girl, always give her the benefit of the doubt."
The height difference between Christine and Erik will never NOT make me laugh. The original novel never mentions Erik's height, I don't think, but for some reason, I've always pictured him being abnormally tall and Christine being teeny-tiny. It's just funny. She's fun-sized. Tell me that's not adorable. I just imagine Erik perpetually terrified that he's going to break her, somehow, because she's itty bitty, when in reality, my ideal Christine is chock full o' spunk.
Phantom of the Opera belongs to Gaston Leroux.
But hey - "Life's too short. I'm not." ~ Kristin Chenoweth
that looks like a Telki worthy prank, there.
I has friend over, and when I looked at this she was like: "0_0 Dude, why is you fist-pumping?" And I proceeded to spew ramble about POTO cuteness ratios and Muirins and tippytoes -oh my!
Sorry to have taken so long to see this; my husband has finally retired and moved up to our new home and I've been busy unpacking stuff and finding (or making) homes for it.
I LOVE this picture. The time and effort you put into the details is amazing: the stripes and shading in Christine's dress, her curls, the fancy detailing on Erik's jacket - just incredible.
And done with such a limited palette, too.
Will you be doing a Christmas one again this season? I always look forward to them every year from you.
But anyway, this is a really cute picture, and I always though of Erik as being abnormally tall too!
