EDIT Thanks to :iconmominator: for pointing out a hilariously conspicuous spelling error that I cannot believe I didn't notice. I've since fixed it. Suffice to say, it's "Lloyd," not "Llyod." Or Lee-oyd.

This is somewhat belated: I drew it awhile ago, and only just got around to coloring it. But better late than never, I suppose.

While Andrew Lloyd Webber was in the process of writing "Love Never Dies," this happened: [link]

Now call me crazy, but I find it a WEE bit too coincidental that a cat just HAPPENED to destroy that score. A cat just HAPPENED to delete the EXACT file in which were stored the contents of the disaster that is "Love Never Dies," hmm? A cat just HAPPENED to destroy it? Completely by accident?

HA. I THINK NOT.

METHINKS THERE WAS TROUBLE AFOOT.

And trouble, thy name is Ayesha.

For those of you aren't familiar with Kay's novel, in it, Erik finds a stray Siamese cat during the Siege of Paris in the Franco-Prussian War, completely forgets that he's supposed to be Mr. Menacing Embodiment of Evil, and falls in love with the kitten, whom he names Ayesha. He spoils her rotten, and she's the only one who can put up with his eccentricities. They grow quite fond of each other.

But she HATES Christine. It's so hilarious--she's like, "Back OFF, lady, he's MINE." And Christine hates her right back. And the whole time, Erik just goes on his merry way, entirely oblivious to the fact that Ayesha and Christine are trying to kill each other while he's playing his sonatas in the corner.

ANYway, Ayesha's super fiesty, and I always liked the idea of her doing some of Erik's bidding. SO. Mix one part Andrew Lloyd Webber, one part horrible, crappy score, one part irritated Opera Ghost, and one part clever, scheming little cat, and what do you get?

NO LIBRETTO FOR YOU, ALW.

You know, Erik and Ayesha could have a real lucrative business here. He could send her out to leave hairballs in the managers' shoes, or something. And she could steal the patrons' precious gems for his stolen precious gems collection.

Ayesha is so evil and adorable. Just like her daddy!

....Except for the "adorable" part...
